Neurion is actively seeking in-licensing opportunities from academic and industry sources. We are most interested in compounds for which
there is proof-of-principle data in an accepted animal model, and a reasonable expectation of patent protection. The compound should have utility in orphan
diseases of the central nervous system, and may be novel or re-purposed.
Neurion’s strategy is to partner with academic collaborators and/or start-up companies and, by combining expertise and resources, accelerate development
licensed compounds. Often, such opportunities are too early or too limited in market size to be attractive to large pharmaceutical companies or may be
difficult to fund with conventional venture capital or angel financing. Neurion will also consider entering into corporate R&D collaborations and co-development partnerships.
