Neurion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is a drug development company focused on small molecule drug therapies for diseases and disorders of the central nervous system (the “CNS”).

The company is actively seeking novel compounds for which there is proof-of-principle data in accepted animal model and for which there is a reasonable expectation of patent protection. The identification of re-purposed compounds that can rapidly be moved into the clinic is also of interest to Neurion. Novel and re-purposed compounds should address CNS disorders such as: Huntington’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, cognition impairment, epilepsy, and nicotine addiction.

Neurion received initial equity funding from Convergent Ventures (Los Angeles, CA). Neurion has received additional funding from research collaborations with pharmaceutical companies and from NIH grants.
